UAE weather: NCM alerts residents to strong winds and very rough seas tomorrow
Chance of fog in humid inland areas
DUBAI – The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast fair to partly cloudy weather across the UAE tomorrow, with periods of strong winds and rough sea conditions expected in several areas.
Low clouds are likely to form over islands and parts of the coastal and eastern regions. Residents and marine operators have been advised to remain cautious as weather conditions fluctuate through the day.
Humidity levels are expected to increase during the night and into Monday morning, particularly over some inland areas. According to the NCM, this could lead to the formation of light fog in isolated locations, potentially affecting early-morning visibility on internal roads.
Wind conditions
Winds are forecast to be moderate to fresh, turning strong at times across parts of the country. Northwesterly winds are expected to blow at speeds of 15 to 30 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 50 km/h. The stronger gusts may raise dust and sand, leading to reduced horizontal visibility, especially in open and exposed areas.
Sea state
Marine conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to be rough to very rough at times, with hazardous conditions for small vessels. The first high tide is forecast at 12:53pm, followed by a second high tide at 3:36am. Low tides are expected at 8:28pm and 7:34am.
Tides outlook
In the Sea of Oman, wave activity will remain comparatively calmer, ranging from slight to moderate. High tides are expected at 9:25am and 11:13pm, while low tides will occur at 4:19pm and 5:08am, according to NCM data.
